Money Frog The money frog or fortune frog, also called "Chan Chu" in Chinese, is associated with monetary gain, wealth and good health. In China, money frog is related to principle of Yin or feminine side of nature and symbolize the moon and can protects against misfortunes, drive away evil, protect wealth and brings good fortune and wealth to the household.
Money frogs that have coin in their mouth should face the interior of the house/office. Money frogs without coin in their mouth should face the exterior of the house/office. By this you can grab money and fortune into your office/home. One of the most auspicious places is the wealth area (South-east corner of the room) and across from the front door on a diagonal.
This symbol can also be kept near cash registers or receptions or in a wealth corner (facing the entrance (the furthest back left corner of a room or Qi gathering spot) at the place of Business.
There is no limit to how many Money frogs there should be in the house/Business premises but the total number of the Money frogs placed inside the house/Business premises should not exceed nine.
Please do not place Money frogs in the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or in front of an aquarium as it could bring about negative energy in your house.
According to FengShui, a family of real frogs in the garden is thought to bring good luck and positive energy to your house.
Money frogs should not be kept on the ground, up too high, or above the height of the pockets of people coming into your home or office.
There is no need to offer incense to the Money frogs, but you can place 5, 6 or 10 coins around Money frogs and offer pure water or fruits.
For an average size room or office select a frog about 3 inches in height and 3 inches wide. Larger frogs are fine for larger rooms.
You may place a Money frog in each corner of your Bagua(bagua is the feng shui energy map of your house that shows which areas of your house or office are connected to specific areas of your life.)
